Ana Maria Donneys Correal is from Quindio Colombia and is a young producer that comes from a family of coffee producers. She is the 5th generation of her coffee producing family and runs Cafe Primitivo. She is combining traditional practices with modern techniques. She carries on the legacy of her grandfather whose passion for coffee influenced her.
We connected with her through social media last year in our endeavour to find young producers that are striving to produce high quality coffees and are using innovative processes that we can highlight. We are so excited to release another coffee from her in our seasonal options.
This release from Ana is a 72 hour Anaerobic Natural. It was dried for 15 days in the sun, and 5 days in mechanical dryers. It was harvested from one of her 5 farms, Finca La Primavera at 1550 masl. It's a Caturra variety with a lot of complexity due to her meticulous processing.
